Fernando Hueso-González is a Distinguished Researcher at Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC), CSIC-UV. He works on the field of proton range verification based on prompt gamma-ray imaging and is the developer of the coaxial detector technique.

Prof. Christian Richter is the Head of the Medical Physics Department at OncoRay in Dresden, Germany.  The focus of Medical Physics research at OncoRay is on the development of online-adaptive proton therapy, enabled by on AI-supported closed feedback-loop of imaging, adaption, QA and verification.

Julia Bauer, PhD is head of Section for Medical Physics at the Department of Radiation Oncology (Heidelberg University Hospital). Her research focus on imaging for particle therapy (based at Heidelberg Ion Beam Therapy Center (HIT), including PET-based treatment verification, MR-image guidance, and imaging of radiation-induced normal tissue reactions

Dennis R. Schaart heads the Medical Physics & Technology section at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). He worked in academia as well as in the medical device industry, always at the intersection of physics, technology, and medicine.
